AT THE SEA WITH A SMILE
Limassol always looks at the sea with a smile. So the importance of the piers for the city, refers to 1881 when the Great Pier was built in the old port and later the piers have been identified with the image of our city and are part of its cultural history.

ALL KIND OF PIERS
Along the almost 40 km coastline of Limassol, one can see all kinds of Piers. Piers for fishing, piers for diving, piers for romance, piers from where one can admire the skyline of our city and the endless blue of the Mediterranean Sea. Piers from where every morning you can enjoy the birth of a new day watching the sun rise through the sea, where you see it end up every day in the late afternoon.

Enaerios Pier
Enaerios pier has become a point of reference in Limassol, a historical monument even. It was originally built for the transfer of asbestos from the Amiandos mine of Troodos. The transfer was done with aerial wagons for packing and loading into barges for transport in ships. It was built in the early 20th century and it was restored in 1995. Today it is a meeting point for swimmers and fishermen and it is ideal for romantic walks.

Palio Limani Pier
The pier was built in 1880 and is the oldest example of Limassol’s urban construction. Now it is part of Limassol’s reconstruction plan. It is also a frequent location for all kind of ceremonies or celebrations.

Promenade Park Piers
Promenade Park is a zone with many piers. some in a straight line and others circular where dozens of events usually take place every year. Among them stands out the 3X3 basketball tournament that is on the FIBA ​​calendar, but also many other cultural events such as the festival of traditional Mediterranean dances.
